Indigo Software Closes New Round of Financing
with $4.5 Million Additional Funding

Investors confirm their trust in Indigo Software,
enlarging the path for company's further development

San Francisco, CA - June 3, 2002 - Indigo Software, leading developer of Internet communications software based on SIP technology, announced today that they raised $4.5 million in a round of financing headed by their primary lead investor Sofinnova Ventures and including Belgian venture capital firm GIMV.

Guided since its inception by the vision that SIP would prevail over any other technology for enabling instant Internet communications, Indigo Software has established itself in two years as a world-class technology company developing infrastructure software for real time Internet.

"This new financing from our early stage investors cements Indigo's mission to remain a continuously innovating company," said Emmanuel Bertrand, President and CEO of Indigo Software Inc., " and it definitely positions Indigo inside the boundless SIP market as a player to be reckoned with, paving the way for other visionary investors to follow."

"I'm very pleased that our long established venture capital firm is taking the lead of this new round of funding," said Alain Azan, Managing Director, Sofinnova Ventures, Inc. "We have seen Indigo Software grow from an innovative startup to a prominent player in their field and we are convinced that this recent investment will indeed propel the company to the next level of business maturity."

So far, Indigo Software has obtained a total of $8.5 million committed venture funding from their investors. The company announced that the new funds will be used to further develop global presence in both the US and Europe, as well as reinforce sales and marketing operations on both continents simultaneously.

Indigo products' aptitude to answer true market needs is increasingly evidenced by customers' choice. Company's product portfolio is a tight ensemble of SIP servers shipped with their corresponding APIs and software component libraries. These toolkits have earned the reputation of superior SIP infrastructure components as a result of numerous participations in advanced SIP interoperability events and industry partner programs. Consequently, the portfolio empowers developers to write multi-level customized applications and readily build efficient SIP communications networks.
