SAN FRANCISCO, CA - May 29, 2001 - Indigo Software, a pioneering Internet-infrastructure software developer, announced today that it has joined the Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS) Open Services Partner AllianceTM (OSPA). Designed to provide a framework that offers service providers end-to-end packet-based network solutions, Sonus' OSPA aims to empower standards-based interoperability between applications, hardware vendors, and the Sonus product suite. Indigo will bring to the program the latest versions of its SIP user agent and SIP proxy server, as well as other key network components.
"We are pleased with the way our alliance has created so much interest in the telecom industry. "Along with Indigo and other partners, we are focused on helping carriers provide next generation services to end users."
"We are delighted to lend our support to this initiative to further the development of standards-based interoperability between communications infrastructure providers," said Edward Keegan, Head of Business Development at Indigo Software.
