Indigo Software Releases its Presence-enabled Conferencing Solution

Indigo Software's InstantConferencing Server offers ad-hoc and presence-enabled voice conferencing
allowing enterprises to drastically reduce their conferencing costs.

San Francisco, US and Brussels, Belgium, December 11th, 2003 - Indigo Software, a leading developer of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)-based communication solutions for IP networks, today announced the release of its InstantConferencing Server™, a presence-enabled voice conferencing solution for enterprise customers.

The solution allows ad-hoc conference setup from the MSN Messenger window. Users can check the availability of their buddies and join them on the spot in a voice conference. As such, voice conferencing becomes readily available at the desktop, allowing for faster and better collaboration.

The Indigo InstantConferencing Server™ is deployed on-site and can take over a substantial part of the conferencing traffic that currently is being used through conferencing service providers. "Our voice conferencing solution is aimed at drastically reducing the sky-high conferencing costs that many enterprises are currently facing. With our in-house, IP-based solution, we can prove ROI within 6 months of deployment.", says Brian Gray, CEO of Indigo Software.

The Indigo Instant Conferencing Server™ allows participants to join a conference from their PC, as well as from their standard or mobile phone. The product is delivered as a pre-configured, out-of-the box appliance: "No network upgrades, no hassle with installation and configuration. Incremental, out-of-the-box deployment was a key parameter when designing the product", says Marijke van Remortel, Director of Sales and Marketing at Indigo Software. "Indigo InstantConferencingServer™ allows employees to work more efficiently as they will be able to set up conference calls immediately, at any time and from their desktop. Equally important, our on-site product allows the enterprise telecoms manager to save costs, as he will be able to keep a large portion of the conferencing traffic on the enterprise network, whereas off-net traffic will be charged at standard PSTN rates instead of at the traditional, high, conferencing rates."
